My copies of Soul Eater Not! 2 and Yotsuba&! 11 came in today, they are thick little buggers. I'm very excited 8D That's my treat for the day.

Natsume is Awesome!

I'm reading Natsume's Book of Friends and I'm loving it so much more than I thought I would.
I'm really tempted to buy my own copies (but that's about the same as everything else I buy, so...)

I also have [re]read La Corda d'oro up to volume 15. So I'm just waiting to get ahold of my Library copy of volume 16 and finish off a lovely series =] I must say, I'm not a fan of the new Linden Hall Aria (or something similiar) spin off based on the extra story in the La Corda volumes. That oneshot was really messy for my tastes, too much happening.

And for November, I have without a doubt went on a shopping spree for manga. Especially because the first volume of Strobe Edge is out!! Plus my favorite character in Oresama Teacher makes his debut in the upcoming volumes :'D Hirunaka no Ryuusei also released just recently, so I'm eager to get my hands on that too!! Lots of manga to buy, I can't wait (but then again, I don't have much money either...) So I have to wait.

Anyway, I have a new phone, so I should be able to take pictures and make the blog prettier and more girly~

Checking Out the Library

First of all, "The Mark of Athena" and Bakuman 15 came in the mail today, so I'm very pleased =]

Second of all, I've got a list of manga that I'd like to read, buuuut... not too sure I'm all hyped up to buy just yet. Plus I don't really want to read them online since we've got a licensed version... so why not?? I'm going to be checking them out in the library like I used to (when the library was in walking distance back in the day...)

Here are some series that I'm talking about:

• La Corda d'oro
  Since all the volumes (except for the extra volume 17...) are published!
• Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon
  I would like to read this new version... in its manga entirety.
• Arisa
  I buy a lot of Natsumi Ando's U.S. licenses, but not this one. Reading the library editions might inspire me to purchase it later if I really like it. It's 10 volumes long, soo...
• Skip Beat!
  I just like occasionally updating myself on this series and see if anything's happened yet lol
• Kamisama Kiss
  I love Julietta Suzuki as an author, even though I always have mixed feelings about the topics she writes about lol
• The 39 Clues (Not a manga, but...)

Some Beautiful Manga

I'd like to say first of all, I'm discovering some AWESOME new songs that's hard to---STOP GIRL, in the name of loooove~ Uhh... what? Haha, U-Kiss's new single "Stop Girl" is pretty FANtastic. Listen to it. I'm warming up to these boys, although it might be because of Kevin's sweet voice.

Anywho, I'm purchasing up a storm of manga again! What arrived in the mail this month were...

• The Magic Touch Volume 9
• Love * Com Volumes 12-14
• Oresama Teacher Volumes 1-4
• Soul Eater Not! Volume 1
• Otomen Volume 13

They're all VERY good stuff. And I actually should be expecting "The Day of Revolution" in my mailbox within a week ^^

I'm not going to talk about how Amazon trolled me badly (because it was partly due to my carelessness as well), but uhhh... yeah, I also bought some goodies from Omari's Sisters stuff sale :'D

I'm really happy about Oresama, guys...

Plus, there are some GOOD manga coming at me in the beginning of next month (not to mention an anime premiere of one of my treasured manga series!)

Otomen v01 ch01 Summary

Well, I know Otomen is an incredible adorable gem, but scanlators only got to a couple chapters before it got licensed in English. So I'm definitely no translator, but I can at least share some of the love with you other aspiring Otomen fans!

I don't really know what chapters/volumes other people have already summarized, so I'll just start at the beginning until people ask for certain chapters/volumes. I might switch between the beginning and the place where scanlators left off though... tell me what you think! If you like it, feel free to request any particular chapter that you want to know about! I have volumes 1-13 in English =]
